STYLES OF HIJAB FOR FASHIONABLE WOMEN

Hijab is a reflection of Muslim women’s identity and elegance. They are not allowed to reveal their beauty in public places which maintains their grace and respect in the eyes of others. It includes covering your head and hairs along with other body parts with an opaque fabric material. 

The concept of wearing hijab was introduced by religion Islam but various cultural modifications have affected its use and style over time. While in some countries it is worn as a religious clothing article while in others it has been included in fashion and clothing. 

The style and way of wearing hijab has undergone significant changes depending on the religious and cultural requirements. Here are some of styles common among Muslim women in different countries

1. BURQA:
It is a type of hijab consisting of two pieces, a shawl for covering head and a gown for covering entire body. This veil is common among subcontinent Muslim women mostly in black color but some women also wear other colors depending on season and occasion.

2. NIQAAB:
Niqaab can be worn as a long dress covering the body from head to toe. The length and width of this clothing depend on individual height and body shape but should be loose to enclose the body.

3. ABAYA:
It is a type of caftan or open gown which is worn on shoulders like a long coat. You can contrast and match the head scarf according to the color and print of abaya. Plain abaya can be decorated with printed scarf while printed abaya looks elegant with plain single colored scarf. This Abaya can also be accessorized with embroidery and diamantes work.

4. BUSHIYYA:
This hijab has two pieces of cloth, one is stitched into a fitted cap while other into a tube like scarf to serve the purpose of veil.

5. BUKHNUK:
Having a shape like a rain coat, this hijab form looks elegant and beautiful to cover the body along the height. The edges can be decorated with fancy laces or knitted to add to fashion or style.

6. AFGHAN BURQA:
This burqa is unique consisting of a complete loose gown with the head area grilled to help women look around. It is a traditional afghan dress and all the women are forced to wear it.

7. CHADOR:
It is a square or rectangular piece of cloth for covering your body completely in different colors.
